Advocacy

Advocacy

More than being the voice of the industry, we advocate for the following programs/concerns:

  • Talent Development - as an ongoing concern, the absorptive capacity of the industry is heavily reliant on the availability of talent. We identify and addess the skills gap and implement an industry-aligned talent development program, making sure that our people are ready for the work of the future.
  • Agri-Tech - with technology now playing a key role in helping the country achieve food security, we will help develop new programs and systems that will include our farmers being able to actively participate in and fully maximize the benefits of a digital marketplace.
  • MSME Capacity Building - as one of the preferred IT-BPM destinations, we want to make sure that we are able to share the best practices of our clients from all over the world to our local MSMEs. This will help in making their operations more efficient with the adoption of digitalization and e-commerce.
  • LGU Digitalization - we support the governement's initiatives to digitalize the local government units (LGUs) in line with the thrust to implement the ease of doing business up to countryside.
  • ICT Council Development (Region XI) - as one of the pioneering and mature ICT Councils in the Philippines, we are expanding our service to the other cities and/or districts in Region XI by helping in the development and training of their own ICT Councils.
  • Impact Sourcing - we are the early adapters and leading advocates for impact sourcing. While we started impact sourcing as a program to reach the rural areas, we are now also focusing on Urban Impact Sourcing (UIS) where we aim to bring IT-BPM jobs right in the middle of our poor communities.
  • Job Fairs - we conduct both onsite and hybrid job fairs (as part of our yearly events) in partnership with our trade associations, DOLE and the LGU's Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
  • Digital Trust - we are implementing a professional program that will transform our IT-BPM employees into global professionals.
