Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012)

ICT DAVAO, INC. (“ICT Davao”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the lawful and secure processing of your personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

By completing and submitting this registration form, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the collection and processing of your personal information and, where consent is the applicable lawful basis, freely and voluntarily give your consent to ICT Davao, Inc. to collect, record, organize, store, update, retrieve, use, and otherwise process your personal information for the legitimate and lawful purposes stated below.

I.                    Personal Information Collected

ICT Davao may collect personal information necessary for registration and participation in its programs, events, activities, and initiatives, which may include your:

  • Email address;
  • Organization, company, or institution;
  • Position or designation; and
  • Other information voluntarily provided through this registration form.

ICT Davao shall collect only personal information that is adequate, relevant, and necessary for the declared purposes of processing.

II.                 Purpose of Processing

The personal information collected shall be processed for legitimate and lawful purposes, including:

  1. Processing and verification of registration and participation in ICT Davao programs, activities, meetings, conferences, and events;
  2. Communicating with registered participants regarding ICT Davao programs, activities, announcements, and related matters;
  3. Preparing attendance records, certificates, reports, directories, and other necessary documentation;
  4. Establishing, maintaining, and updating an ICT Davao database of members, participants, stakeholders, partners, and individuals who engage with ICT Davao;
  5. Facilitating networking, business matching, professional engagement, and collaboration among event participants, members, stakeholders, partners, and other authorized participants;
  6. Conducting surveys, consultations, research, and other organizational or industry-related activities; and
  7. Performing other lawful purposes reasonably necessary for the legitimate functions and activities of ICT Davao.

III.              Retention of Personal Information

ICT Davao shall retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or when retention is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
